I just want to be a kid again.
In the last year of my life, I have reached the scary place known as adulthood. I pay all of my own bills. I have 4 jobs. I go to bed before midnight EVERY night. I have the energy of an 80-year-old woman when I get to the end of my days.
I don't like it.
When you are young, you want to be grown. When you are grown, you want to be young. Why is it that we can never be happy where we are in life? I am going to make a determined effort to start living in the moment. There is nothing but the present, after all.

You get to start acting like a kid again at times when you have your own kids. At least that is my excuse. I also think it comes full circle in retirement as well. Love you!

I know- I keep trying to tell myself that there is really no pressure to act like a complete adult unless I am at work (because honestly, me and my friends are just goofy the rest of the time). I suppose it's just a hard transition time right now. Thanks for the encouragement! Love you guys too! :)
